General Delivery Information
We deliver to your home or office; products are dispatched from our warehouse. Delivery normally takes between five (5) to ten (10) business days. The delivery fee is calculated by the size and weight of the items, plus the delivery location.
You are liable for payment of all delivery charges, including any additional charges incurred as a result of difficulties with access. You must ensure correct delivery address details are provided to us and notify us in advance if there will be difficulties accessing the delivery address (e.g. staircases or narrow passages). We will use reasonable endeavours to meet the estimated delivery date. If we do not meet the estimated delivery date for any reason, our liability will be limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods at a different time or at a maximum, to the refund of the purchase price.
Products will only be delivered if a person aged over 18 years and able to accept delivery is at the delivery address. Should an appropriate person not be available to accept delivery on the pre-arranged delivery date, you will be charged for transport and re-delivery costs. You are responsible for ensuring there is adequate access and entry to the site to allow the delivery of the products. If delivery cannot be made, a card will be left and you will be responsible for organising collection of the products from the address identified on the card.
All deliveries must be signed for when you receive them; deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes. If you are unable to take delivery of your items in person – or if you haven’t received them within a reasonable period – Contact Us for further instructions.
You also have the option to pick up your order to avoid paying delivery charges. Please note that only the person who placed the order may pick it up. When picking up your items, you’re required to supply a copy of your order, photo ID and/or credit card used to make the purchase. Refund, Return & Repair Policy
At Home BARS we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase.
We therefore recommend you read or ask our Refund, Return and Repairs Policy prior to you making a purchase from Home BARS store, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from our store, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, match the description we have provided to you.
About our Refund, Return & Repair Policy
This is the Refund, Repair and Return Policy of The Interiors (VIC) PTY LTD, trading as Home BARS Decor & Furniture, applies where you make a purchase in store.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before proceeding with your order.
Floor-Stock and EX- Display
All floor-stock items are purchased in “as is” condition. Some floor-stock items may warrant a discount, these items are non refundable and sold in an “as in” condition. All Items MUST be inspected prior to purchase. Many Floor-Stock and ex-display items may have slight marks/damages or be discontinued. It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect their items prior to purchase as sold in as is condition. Any damage incurred from the transportation and/or in-home use of floor-stock/ ex-display items is not the responsibility of Home BARS Decor & Furniture.

Goods Damaged in Transit
If any goods arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. Damaged goods must be returned in the condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and/or manuals and will be replace within a reasonable time.
Refunds, if required, will be made by Home BARS Decor & Furniture via the method of payment you used to make your purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within seven (7) days.
Where Home BARS Decor & Furniture considers the goods to have breached a consumer guarantee, any shipping costs to return the goods to Home BARS Decor & Furniture will be at Home BARS Decor & Furniture cost.
Returns and Repairs
Goods must be returned within a reasonable time. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.
If any goods cannot be easily returned to us due to their size, the fault or because they have been affixed or installed in your premises, please contact us to arrange an inspection to assess the goods.
Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.

All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. There are nine consumer guarantees that apply to goods you purchase:
1. Acceptable quality.
2. Fit for a particular purpose
3. Match description
4. Match the sample or demonstration model
5. Express warranties will be honoured
6. Spare parts and repair facilities will be available for a reasonable time after purchase
7. Title to the goods
8. Undisturbed possession of the goods
9. No undisclosed securities on the goods
Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded and are in addition to any extended warranty you purchase or any voluntary warranty (warranty against defects) you are given.
There may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy. For further information about the Australian Consumer Law and consumer guarantees, visit www.consumerlaw.gov.au.
Many of our products come with a guarantee or warranty from the manufacturer 6 months. In addition, they come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Attention: Home BARS Decor & Furniture do not take any responsibility of any electrical installations including spot lights come with the cabinets as an additional feature, we do not contract any certified electrician and we highly recommend it to be installed by certified personnel for the job for the safety of your home and the product.
